starting my predictor fir the fifa WC06.. yeah..

i shall now show you how i predict the matches will go...

Germany qualify as leader
Poland as Runner up.

ENG v PAR 1-1
TAT v SWE 0-3

Sweden qualify as leaders.
England qualify as runner-up. Gerrard scores last min equalizer against Sweden. Heartbreat for Paraguay as they miss a penalty n lose out by goal difference.

Said to be the group of death. but holland and argentina edge out opponents in close fight enconters. Argentina qualify as group leaders, holland as runner ups, due to better goal difference.

Angola fails to live up to expectations as black horse. Iran salvage asian pride in last match to ensure they do not end last. Mediocre group. Mexico lose to portugal as they are not well adapted to Germany weather. With portugal going through as group leaders and Mexico as runner-ups.

Ghana stages upset against chezh, drawing 2-2 with them. Italy lose to czech but still qualifies as group leader. With Czech as runner-up.

Brazil could only manage last min goal win agaist croatia as they still not used to playing against Euro teams in Europe. Aussies win Japan by better finishing. Brazil then find scoring touch while Aust reveals Brazils defensive frailities. Brazil qualifies as group leaders, Australia as runner-ups.

Switz fail to meet expectations and cannot find scoring boots. Korea becomes first Asian team to qualify for next round. France led by Zidane qualify as group leaders, korea as runner ups.

Shevchenko led ukraine fail to qualify although shevchenko shines, scoring all their goals. Spain looks on good condition as they win all matches. Spain qualify as leaders, Tunisia as runner up.
Tunisia becomes first and onlyAfrican team to proceed.

Germany proceed with home advantage, England fails to score.

ARG VS MEX 3-1
Argentina's strength too good for mexico.

SWE VS POL 1-1 (swe wins 4-2 on pens)
little seperate both teams as sweden finally progress through penalties.

POR VS HOL 3-2 a.e.t full time 2-2
Another close encounter between two european giants. Van Nisterooy poaches a goal deep in extra time to seal classic encounter between both teams.

ITA VS AUS 1-0
Italy shows attacking strength as well as defensive might. Aus fail to crack down on Italy's defence even though they enjoy larger possesion.

FRA VS TUN 3-0
One of the most one-sided matches of this round as France totally dominated Tunisia. However, win comes with high cost as Zidane injured in match.

BRA VS CZE 3-1
Fans saw this not as a Round of 16 match but as a finals. Classic encounter as Ronaldinho and co. shows thier stuff. Czech, though strong, still not good enough for the attacking talents of Brazil.

SPA VS KOR 2-1
Spain revenges WC02 defeat by Korea by defeating them 2-1.

Quarter finals.
GER VS ARG 1-1 Ger wins 5-4 on pens
Lehmann the hero as he pulls of a magnificent penalty save in penalty shootout. Argentina dominated the match but unlucky as germany proceeds through penalty.

ITA VS FRA 2-1
Italy wins lacklustre france without zidane. Revenges Euro 98 final defeat by france.

SWE VS HOL 0-1
Holland wins battle of the two teams though sweden managed to put in a good performance.

BRA VS SPA 2-0
Brazil wins Spains as Spains dissapoints its many fans yet again. Brazil looking good to win WC for 6th time.

Semi-Finals.
GER VS ITA 1-2
repeat of recent friendly among the two team as ITA wins the battle and goes into the finals. Germany fans saddened. Klinssman sacked.

HOL VS BRA 3-2
Great match with both sides displaying exciting attacking football. Holland breaks heart of brazillian fans as they move into the finals of the World Cup. Brazil blames lost due to defensive errors. Cafu outpaced by Robben.

3rd placed match
Brazil VS Germany 3-1
Brazil salvage some pride by claiming third spot ahead of hosts Germany, beating germany 3-1.

FINALS
Holland VS Italy 1-1(Holland wins 6-5 on pens)
Holland wins first ever major throphy as Italy struck down by penalty curse again. Gattuso hits the post with last penalty.

yeah.. tt's how i expect the competition to go.. yeah..
